Thermoelectric device characterisation under real-world conditions is an essential step in the design validation cycle. As such, we offer various electro-mechanical instruments to asses the thermal and/or electrical performance of thermoelectric devices working in power generating mode, Peltier cooling mode, or heating mode.
If you already have a thermo-mechanical system (or a TEG power generating system) and you need to:
- verify the electrical characteristic of your TEG(s)
- operate your TEG system electrically at-load to quantify continuous power generation
then we recommend our new RO3 I-V tracer and dynamic electronic load. This test equipment is ideal also for use with solar PV panels and solar cells.
Solutions to test your devices
Entry-level Testing Fixtures
This manually-activated mechanical fixture is a low-cost test solution. Components can be bought individually and we are happy to suggest how to integrate them to your existing solution.
Automated Test Systems
Nearly everything in this complete test system is computer controlled but the fixtures can be used separately if you wish to provide your own power, cooling, instrumentation and control.
I-V Tracers and Electronic Loads
This I-V Tracer and at-load Tester is a flexible solution to inspect the electrical performance of TEG(s) and PV cell(s) and to continuously operate them as an independent electronic load.
