Philip is responsible for developing tests to evaluate the thermal and electrical performance of TCS systems. He also contributes to the design and commercialisation of new products. He has a First-Class Honours Degree in Mechatronics from Glasgow University and appeared on their Engineering Excellence List from 2016-2018. Previously he has contributed electronic engineering solutions to the Particle Physics Experiment Group at Glasgow, working mainly on the design and characterization of high-speed transmission lines for use in the upgraded LHCb experiment at CERN. In his former career as a sound and video engineer he has worked in broadcast TV, as well as managing teams of technicians in the Palace of Westminster, Foreign Office and at live events around Europe.
